Alexander Tasopoulos, Violin

 


 


Born on Long Island, New York, Mr. Alex Tasopoulos began violin studies at age 4 and viola at 14.  During his studies at the Mannes Preparatory Division and later at McGill University, Mr. Tasopoulos had the opportunity to study with world-renowned teachers, including Dr. Liana Laura Mount and Andre Roy.  

 

Most Recently, Mr. Tasopoulos was invited in numerous international music festivals at the Banff Arts Centre and Orford Arts Centre, he has also performed with the Aegean Verdi Festival and the Montreal/New Music Festival. Mr. Tasopoulos is under the tutelage of the world-famous musician Michael Tree at The Juilliard School, where he has obtained his Master's degree.
